Southern Illinois Hunting and Fishing Days

Held at John A. Logan College (Carterville, IL), this edition of the National Hunting and Fishing Days Celebration is slated as the largest in the country.

At the Hunting and Fishing Days event, the Outdoorsmen Club volunteers in all areas of the events. Past years have found members throwing clays for the trap field; serving noon meals, handing out promotional materials at the gates, assisting vendors, watching over the silent auction, and working with the youth at the fishing pond, BB gun shoot, archery shoot. 40 plus volunteers working 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday assisting 30,000 visitors each year.
